From the President I trust that all of you are well and that professors, teachers and students have begun a new semester, that will be an enriching experience for all. At the last council meeting in early December 2006, Pastor Dohrman declared that after his 65th birthday in July, he will retire. We decided then that we should form a Call Committee. Bob Wagner volunteered to serve as chair, and Jim Freeman, Mary Hafner, Myrna Hoover, Crystal Berner, Miriam Helmer, and Robert Thompson and I agreed to be part of the committee as well. Pastor Dohrman will serve as an ex-officio member. We have not had any meetings yet, but we are working on finding a date that will work for us. Bob Wagner encourages all members to make suggestions about any possible pastors for our consideration. I would like to thank all of you who have agreed to be part of this process. Please continue to keep our ailing members and their families and caregivers in your prayers: Cheryl Dance, Scott Diestelhurst, Sylvia Culp, and Wayne Smith. Unfortunately, we need to add Pastor Dohrman back to the list. Last Thursday, Pastor was diagnosed with 2 brain tumors which are related to his lymphoma. He has been at the Moffitt Medical Center in Tampa, since last week. He is to start radiation treatments today, Thursday, and then he will have to undergo another round of chemotherapy treatments. He welcomes your prayers and hopes to be with us again very soon. I have just spoken to Pastor and he may be in Tampa for 4 or 5 weeks, so cards would welcome. His address in Tampa is: Moffitt Cancer Center, 12902 Magnolia Dr. Room 306, Tampa, FL 33612. If you are in town this coming week-end, we would love to see you at worship on Sunday morning at 11 a.m. God's blessings, A "Thank You" Tour
