From the President Dear friends, members, and families of University Lutheran, I hope you are all enjoying this beautiful spring weather. Thank you to those who served dinner at the HOPE community the week before last; Catherine Knickerbocker, Julia Landry, and Paula Smith. At University Lutheran we realize that this coming week is the last full week of classes for our university students and faculty and this may be the last Sunday for some of our students before they return next fall. For those who are graduating, we extend God's richest blessings as you begin a new phase in your lives. We also thank Karyl Louwenaar Lueck for her years of service and guidance to innumerable students as professor in music. Karyl, we wish you God's blessings, as you begin a new phase in your life as well. We continue to keep Deb Buenrostro and her family in our prayers, as both her father and her mother are battling serious illnesses. We invite you to join us for worship on Sunday at 11. May the afterglow of Easter continue to illumine your hearts and minds. God's blessings,Elsa McKinney Need a Quiet Place to Study? Quality Student Housing Opportunity
University Lutheran Church and Student Center offers semi-private campus living for up to four students each semester. We offer very reasonable semester rates, high speed cable, cable TV, access to piano and organ, and plenty of quiet study space. We do not offer any of the usual distractions like a swimming pool, weight room, sauna, basketball court, tennis court, PETS, or wild parties. If you are a serious student and don't want to "break the bank" with dorm expenses, please email the ULC President for additional information.
