From the President Dear friends, members, and families of University Lutheran, I trust all of you are enjoying this milder weather that we are having, though we really could use some rain. At University Lutheran, things are slowing down a bit, what with most students gone and families going on vacations and taking time off. We congratulate Justin Unger as he graduates from high school this week. We wish Justin God's richest blessings, as he begins a new phase in his life. Today, May 18th is also the day that Jay Winters, who will be our next pastor, graduates. We also celebrate Pastor Emory Hingst's 45th anniversary in the ministry. What a blessing he has been to so many. Thank you, Pastor Hingst, for your dedication and faithful service. Please continue to keep Bob Culp, Mary Liz Moody and Deb Buenrostro and their families in your prayers as they battle medical problems and ailments. Sylvia Culp would enjoy phone calls and/or a visit. Since Bob is in rehab, sometimes she would love to have some company. If you are in town this Sunday, please join us for worship at 11 a.m. We would love to see you. Council members, please stay for a council meeting after the service God's blessings,
You can learn more about this Jay Winters here. He will be visiting University Lutheran Church and Student Center on June 3rd. Stop in for worship at 11:00 am and say hello.
